Measuring takes a minute. A soft tape around your hairline, front to nape and ear to ear, and those two numbers are all we need. If you'd rather not do it alone, book a call and Malka does it with you.
The dark browns aren't dyed at all. The lighter colors are lifted gently and that's as far as we take it, because heavy processing strips the cuticle, and stripped hair is what goes dry and dull by month four.
A lace top lasts about two to three years with regular wear. Not five. Not ten. It takes heat and it washes clean, and it'll want a refresh now and then, same as your own hair would if you wore it every day.
This is a good wig at its price. We price it for what it is.
Fine baby hairs at the front. A row or two of lighter strands at the very edge, easing back from there. That gradient is what your eye reads as a hairline instead of a wig line, and it's the part people look at first, including you.
If you want the baby hairs worked differently for your face, that's a call with Malka before it ships.
Every screen renders color differently, and yours is rendering it right now. We shoot the whole catalog against the same background under the same light, so the colors are at least honest against each other. Your screen is still your screen.
If it arrives and it's wrong next to your own hair, send it back inside 7 days. You don't get stuck with a color you didn't pick.
If your own hairline sits very low, a lace top works against you, and a different cap suits you better.
If you want something you can put through heat every morning, this will wear out sooner than you want it to.
